“Are The Hospitals In Pakistan Ready To Fight Omicron?” – An Insight into Health Care Reforms.

Every year more than 1.7 million people in Pakistan succumb to heart disease. The death rate is a whopping 35% higher in this country when compared with the world average of 2%. What’s going on? What causes this increased rate of mortality? Why are the best hospitals in Pakistan not doing their jobs properly? In order to answer these questions, we need to understand what makes a hospital great. In this post, we will be looking at the importance of quality health care reform and how it will change lives for the better

The Importance of Quality Health Care Reform in Pakistan

Health care reform in Pakistan is one of the most important topics for discussion. It has been a hot topic in the country for a while now and it will not be going away anytime soon. It is time for this country to provide its citizens with quality health care. Quality healthcare leads to better outcomes, which leads to lower mortality rates. In order to create a healthier country, we need to focus on quality health care reform. In recent years, the government of Pakistan has been trying to improve the quality of our hospitals by setting certain standards that they must meet before being licensed.

This includes quality medical staff and equipment so that patients can get proper treatment and receive relief from their symptoms. The government also ensures that the hospital has an emergency room and an intensive care unit so that all patients can get adequate attention and care during their stay there.

All hospitals providing these basic facilities are given government funds in order to help them improve their services. However, many hospitals still do not meet these requirements due to a lack of resources or negligence on the part of the staff working there. But, still, the condition is under control.

Pakistani Government has taken an important initiative to facilitate the nation

Pakistan has four provinces, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and KPK. Since Imran Khan’s party came into power and former cricketer became the prime minister of Pakistan. He has been tirelessly working for the development and prosperity of Pakistan. Despite seeing a pandemic, which influenced almost every sector everywhere in the world. The government stood fast and fought with humongous challenges.

The government did a commendable job by providing free health care facilities to the residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KPK. Now, after successfully providing them with healthcare facilities, the government headed towards the largest province of the country, Punjab.

From 1st January 2022, every resident of the Punjab province can visit any tertiary health care unit near to them to get facilitated with the needed medical procedures. Still, you have to check with the list of hospitals that come under this initiative.

The name of the initiative is “Sehat Card” and it simply works on your identification card. You just have to go to the hospital to show your ID card and you will be provided by the medical facilities and checked by the specialized doctors practicing there.

This is applicable to everyone, no matter which background you come from. A family can use a total of seven lac and twenty thousand rupees per year. This shows that health is the primary concern for the Pakistani government at the moment and it is certainly taking all the necessary steps to provide the best health care facilities to the people. All of the best hospitals in Pakistan are fully equipped and ready to fight the omicron virus.

Why is Healthcare Reform Important?

Pakistan’s healthcare system is plagued by a lack of infrastructure and medical experts, as well as a high rate of illiteracy. That means that people have to rely on hospitals for everything from primary care to trauma treatment – and they typically have nowhere else to turn.

As a result, local hospitals are overworked, understaffed, and poorly equipped. They also can’t treat specialized diseases or offer specialized treatments. What’s more, the country doesn’t even have an organized system for regulating health care professionals like doctors and nurses. This means that there are very few qualified medical professionals who can work in Pakistan’s hospitals.

It’s no wonder then why the best hospitals in Pakistan aren’t doing their jobs properly! With limited resources and high rates of illiteracy, it is nearly impossible for them to help everyone who needs it. So how do we fix this? The answer lies in quality health care reform.

Reforms will address the shortage of doctors, nurses, equipment, medicines, and beds at the hospital level so that every person has access to good quality healthcare regardless of socioeconomic status or geographical location.

Health Care Reforms in Pakistan

Pakistan lags behind other countries in terms of quality health care. In a recent study, it was found that the top 10% of the world’s hospitals belonged to either the United States or Europe. In Pakistan, on the other hand, only three hospitals were ranked as ‘very good and another 12 were ranked as ‘good.’ The rest were ranked as ‘average’ or lower.

The reasons for this are many and varied—some say it is because there is a lack of medical personnel in Pakistan, others say it is because there isn’t enough funding for research and development, while still others claim that poor governance has led to a lack of investments in health care. Whatever your opinion on what causes these problems may be, one thing is certain: something needs to change if we want to improve our nation’s health care system.

How Hospitals Should Change for Better?

Hospitals in Pakistan are very different from those in the US. But the overarching theme is the same: to provide quality health care for their patients. The problem with Pakistani hospitals, however, is that they don’t have the resources to provide such care.

In many cases, this means less trained staff and outdated equipment. Hospitals also lack access to expensive life-saving medicines and technologies that could save the lives of people suffering from heart disease and other conditions.

Despite what we hear in the media, we need to know that there are plenty of hospitals in Pakistan that do a great job and put their patients first and foremost. The problem is that they simply don’t have the money or resources necessary to expand beyond these current limitations.

What can we do? There needs to be a change in hospital reform so that these essential problems can be addressed at last. It’s about time we raised awareness for this issue before it’s too late!

The importance of quality health care cannot be emphasized enough. Pakistani hospitals are not able to keep up with the demands of the public. And oftentimes, we neglect quality for quantity.

If hospitals are not willing to change, they will get replacements. If hospitals want to stay relevant, they should focus on becoming the go-to place for patients.

The hospital of the future will offer comfort, reassurance, and convenience. Patients should be able to get everything they need, from healthcare to entertainment, without ever having to leave the hospital. Hospitals should also be technologically savvy and offer innovative treatments for patients. Pakistani hospitals have a lot of work to do in order to catch up with the rest of the world. But with dedication and a little creativity, they have a chance at success.
