TIP #1 ASK YOUR EMPLOYER OR SCHOOL

In today’s technology-driven society, it’s more important than ever to have connections with others through a computer.

Before looking for grants and other assistance for your laptop, I suggest you look at what might be available through your employer or school.

Resources may be waiting for you, but they may not be the sort of thing that your job or school is heavily promoting.

Several universities offer laptops, or at least offer them at a reduced price so that all students can access them.

Or you can talk to an advisor about your needs. Sometimes colleges have special grants for needy students to get a free laptop.

Your boss might also be willing to help you with a laptop if you need it for work purposes and you can’t buy it yourself.
