The Seller Central portal has four primary interfaces.
The first, Orders, is where sellers manage orders. Sellers can view individual and group orders by date, number of items, and other categories. Sellers can also print invoices and packing slips, process refunds and cancellations, and print shipping labels.
The second interface is the Inventory interface. Here sellers can add new products to inventory or edit existing ones. The Inventory interface allows sellers to upload product information in bulk, as well as add descriptions, images, pricing data, and other aspects of their products’ listings. A separate page called Manage Inventory provides more detailed data on each product in the seller’s inventory — such as current price, average price over time, sales rank by category, profit, quantity sold over a given period of time (or total), and more — in a sortable table format.
The third primary interface is Reports. This is where sellers can monitor how many items they have sold over a given period of time, how much revenue those sales have generated (and the resulting profits or losses), what the current status is for each order placed through Amazon Seller Central (i.e., shipped or refunded), how customers are rating the seller’s
Seller Central is a web-based application where third-party sellers can sell their products on Amazon. It’s a type amazon fba business. These sellers are required to create a Seller account, and are then able to list product offers, fulfill orders, and receive payments through their Seller Central accounts.
Seller Central is designed for merchants who prefer to sell without the assistance of Amazon’s retail operation. This means that sellers have complete control over pricing and marketing of their products.
As a result, it can be difficult to get started selling on Amazon. However, there are many benefits to using Seller Central that make the process worthwhile.
Amazon Seller Central is a web-based, e-commerce portal that allows Amazon sellers to create and manage product listings on the website, track order and inventory information, and manage customer service inquiries. The platform can be accessed by going to SellerCentral.Amazon.com
Sellers can also access Seller Central from within their Amazon accounts.
Once sellers are signed into their accounts, they have access to numerous features. Many of these features can be found under the navigation tabs at the top of the page: Inventory, Orders, Reports, Performance and Settings
Navigation Tabs
Inventory: This tab is primarily used to manage sellers’ inventories manually, either unit-by-unit or by uploading inventory spreadsheets. It is also used to modify product information, add products to be sold, control pricing, and adjust quantities. Sellers may also manage Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) inventory and create shipments from this tab.
Orders: Sellers manage orders and returns under this tab. They also generate order reports under this tab.
Reports: This tab contains business related reports. The Payments section allows sellers to view all payment histories and to generate settlement reports.
Performance: An important aspect to sellers’ successes, the Performance tab shows all information that attests to the health of sellers’ accounts. Sellers are able to view all A-to-Z Guarantee claims, chargebacks, customer feedback, and any new performance notifications.
