Then click on the “Cancel subscription” button and “Confirm.” Again, once the subscription is terminated, you must confirm by e-mail.
If you have an annual subscription, the billing date will be within 15 days before the start of the following subscription timing. The monthly subscription will be within two days before the next month. Following a free trial, you will be charged on the last day of the free trial.
To terminate, you must log in to your Avast Account. Click on the “Subscriptions” tile, and you will see the list of subscriptions you have taken with Avast. Under each subscription, you will have the “unsubscribe” button, and you have to click on it. To confirm this termination, click on “Cancel automatic renewal and let my subscription expire on XX/XX/XXXX.” You must not forget to click confirm and OK.
Subscription purchased on Google Play.
If you purchased your Avast subscription on Google Play, the termination steps would not be the same as those listed above. To cancel the subscription renewal, you must ensure that you are logged in to the Google Play account that you used to purchase your subscription. Once you are in your account, you will have a “Payments and subscriptions” menu by clicking on your profile picture in the top right.
Then click on “Subscriptions” and on the subscription you no longer need. At this point, you will have the “Cancel Subscription” button, but clicking it does not directly cancel the subscription.
Google Play Store will ask you for confirmation to cancel the subscription, so go all the way. You may be asked about the reasons for this subscription cancellation. Your subscription will be canceled entirely when you receive a confirmation by e-mail.
